My unhurried morning yoga routine

The simple flow I move through before the world wakes up.

Zen

People ask what my mornings look like. The honest answer is boring in the best way. No phone, no rush. Just a mat, a window, and a few minutes to come back to my own breath before anything else gets a say.

I start seated. A few long breaths, in through the nose, slow on the way out, until the head goes quiet. Then a gentle cat and cow to wake the spine, a couple of slow sun salutations, and a long hold in whatever pose my body asks for that day.

The point is not to perform. It is to feel steady before the day pulls at me. Ten unhurried minutes beats an hour of forcing it, every time.

Try it tomorrow. Breath first, movement second, everything else after. It changes how the whole day sits on you.

If you want to see how the practice looks up close, I share more of it with the people on my private side.
